The evaluation period is October 1-31 with notification given by November.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"MuiListItem-root MuiListItem-gutters MuiListItem-padding css-65nsjg\">\n<div class=\"MuiListItemText-root css-14rdsw0\"><span class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-body1 MuiListItemText-primary css-t0p5a2\">You must be between 17-24 years of age in the year of application.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"MuiListItem-root MuiListItem-gutters MuiListItem-padding css-65nsjg\">\n<div class=\"MuiListItemText-root css-14rdsw0\"><span class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-body1 MuiListItemText-primary css-t0p5a2\">You must be a Burnaby resident at the time of application.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"MuiListItem-root MuiListItem-gutters MuiListItem-padding css-65nsjg\">\n<div class=\"MuiListItemText-root css-14rdsw0\"><span class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-body1 MuiListItemText-primary css-t0p5a2\">You must attend full-time studies in a trade, diploma, or degree program at a designated post-secondary institution with tuition costs of at least $1,000.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"MuiListItem-root MuiListItem-gutters MuiListItem-padding css-65nsjg\">\n<div class=\"MuiListItemText-root css-14rdsw0\"><span class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-body1 MuiListItemText-primary css-t0p5a2\">This scholarship is only available to first-time recipients.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"MuiListItem-root MuiListItem-gutters MuiListItem-padding css-65nsjg\">\n<div class=\"MuiListItemText-root css-14rdsw0\"><span class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-body1 MuiListItemText-primary css-t0p5a2\">Applicants will receive scoring points based on eligibility criteria below.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"MuiListItem-root MuiListItem-gutters MuiListItem-padding css-65nsjg\">\n<div class=\"MuiListItemText-root css-14rdsw0\"><span class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-body1 MuiListItemText-primary css-t0p5a2\">The maximum scholarship amount is $1,000 upon establishment in 2025 with the amount periodically reviewed and adjusted for inflation.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6>Due Date<\/h6>\n<p>September 30th<\/p>\n<h6>Value<\/h6>\n<p>$1,000<\/p>\n<h6>Procedure<\/h6>\n<p>Apply online at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.burnabytennis.ca\/scholarship\">https:\/\/www.burnabytennis.ca\/scholarship\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Criteria Burnaby Tennis Club supports the continuing education of young people who have made tennis and BTC a part of their life.
