You know that you can&#8217;t just download an image from the internet and call it your own. So how do you find images that are free to download and use?<\/p>\n<p>There are sites that provide ethically sourced or free images such as <em>Creative Commons<\/em> and <em>istock<\/em> but did you know that Google does as well? You must create a filter for it first. Here&#8217;s how:<\/p>\n<p>1. Go to<a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.ca\/webhp?hl=en&amp;tab=ii\" target=\"_blank\"> www.google.ca<\/a> (or .com)<br \/>\n2. Click on &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.ca\/imghp?hl=en&amp;tab=wi\" target=\"_blank\">Images<\/a>&#8221; tab and search for an image.<br \/>\n3. In &#8220;<strong>Options<\/strong>&#8221; (far right, beside safe search moderate), choose &#8220;<strong>Advanced Search<\/strong>.&#8221;<br \/>\n4. Located towards the bottom of the search fields, select &#8220;usage rights&#8221;.
