We are open during Tutorial block and nutrition break. We are closed at lunch.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">Any changes to the hours each week will be written on the sign on the library door.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\"><strong>Borrowing Periods<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fiction and non-fiction books: 4 weeks<\/li>\n<li>DVDs : overnight<\/li>\n<li>Magazines: 1 week<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Philosophy and Goals of the BNS Library<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Our program promotes the development of independent, lifelong learning.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The program goals are based on the principles of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>resource-based learning<\/li>\n<li>information literacy<\/li>\n<li>critical thinking<\/li>\n<li>collaborative partnerships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The development of these skills is achieved through the effective use of print, non-print, and electronic media.<\/p>\n<p>Got a question?
