Youth & Family Worker for Immigrant Youth

Youth & Family Workers help to support and assist new immigrants (students) and their families in the following ways:

  • Assist and support vulnerable immigrant youth in school
  • Work with students, parents, staff and community partners with emphasis on the unique educational, social and career development and needs of the students
  • Assist in connecting students to community-based learning experiences and resources including work sites
  • Support students to make a successful transition to workplace opportunities and further education and training

Caren’s office hours at Moscrop Secondary are:  Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30am to 4:00pm.
