All books have a loan period of two weeks, but students are encouraged to return their books on a weekly basis.
Kindergarten students may borrow one book at a time.
Grade 1 studen
ts may borrow up to two books at a time.
Grade 2 - 7 students may borrow up to three books at a time.
Borrowing privileges may be suspended if a student has an overdue, damaged or lost book. It is the responsibility of the borrower to pay for a book that is lost or damaged. If a book that has been lost and paid for is returned, the money paid will be refunded.
All students are encouraged to keep their books in a plastic bag to prevent water damage from weather or spills inside a backpack.
Some books are identified as "mature reads". These books are for grade 7 readers only. All other students may only borrow these books with a signed permission form.
