Don&#8217;t practice first thing in the morning or late at night, your neighbours won&#8217;t appreciate that! Practicing in the middle of the day should be just fine and your neighbours may even come and compliment you!<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>For brass players! Using an empty and clean water bottle, hold the bottle just inside the bell. Don&#8217;t try to force it and you will have to hold it the entire time or it will fall out. This creates a makeshift mute!
