The curricula is foundational to what we do.  Our goals, objectives give us the reasons and assessments  provides the results (‘how we know we got there’).  Technology plays a key role in the 21st Century.  For the most part it is a gateway to reaching our goals.   Sometimes it can be seen as a tool, like a hammer or a pencil or a paintbrush.  And for some it plays the role of equalizer, giving us the opportunity to be successful and included.  Technology is everywhere; in our homes, in our workplace, in our social place.
