English: We will start the Novel “Wonder” by R.J. Palacio. “Wonder” is about a young boy who was born with a facial difference that prevented him from going to a mainstream school- until now. He’s about to enter fifth grade at Beecher Prep, and if you’ve ever been the new kid, then you know how hard that can be. The thing is Auggie’s just a ordinary kid, with an extraordinary face. This is a fantastic novel and we are all really looking forward to reading it together. Also in English we will be using a new program called News2You which allows students to access newspaper articles online which are catered to their learning needs.
