Flowers and food in the library!

Division 8 spent Wednesday morning learning about serving size for each food group.  To help them visualize how much of each type of food is a serving, students created a 3-D models.

In the afternoon, Division 12 learnt about the basic parts of a flowering plant and the main parts of a flower.  Students watched their teacher use a document camera to show how to dissect their flower, then they dissected flowers and labelled the parts.
