In the above pictures, we have made landscapes of Antarctica, Penguins with the lights in the background.
Later the children made their own story about an Antarctic animal.
For Literacy week, we had a story read to us from Mrs. Sing. The other pictures show how all of us took part in showing the story of Snow White.
Here we are doing co-operative movements with our friends.

We learned to make origami hearts from Mrs. Ma. Then we opened our boxes. What fun!
With our buddies, we counted different objects to 100.
Using shaving cream, we printed the letter j. With watercolours, we made the Northern Lights. We sprinkled salt on for the light to shine.
Using two containers of ice the children felt each one. The second one had shortening. The idea was to show the children how Arctic Animals have blubber to keep warm.

These are the Valentine boxes we made with our Buddies. The children are encouraged to put the cards of their classmates into the corresponding box.
As the teacher, I have written what I like about each child. Later on, we have added what the children like about each other.

An artist from the Burnaby Art Gallery came to do fold out books with us.
Here we are planning a story.

Here, we are learning what First Nations Peoples think about certain animals.
We are working on our weather books, while we observe ice melting in various materials.
We are singing and dancing with Mrs. Speakman.
We are doing a lion dance.
Our buddies helped us make our Valentine boxes that you see on the table.–They are just waiting for the cards.
I have written what I love about each student. To continue this, the class will tell one thing they like about each child in the class.

These are some of the things we saw on the trip.-gates, the gardens, a food market, and jade figures.
These are some other things we saw-dragons on the lights, special dishes, some with rice patterns, a tea place and stained glass windows from Carnegie library.
Students were told about the medicines that some people use. This is a dried reptile used for medicine.
