SFU Applied Sciences Outreach continues to offer fun, engaging workshops and resources that encourage youths to explore topics in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and design, and Mathematics (STEAM). These Speaker Series are great experiences that show you what is being studied in university and challenge you to think about what is possible with science.
There are two speakers coming up:
- James Topham, M.Sc. talks about Artificially Intelligent Health Care: Using Computer Science to Personalize Medicine. Saturday, November 26 from 1-2 for Grade 8-12 students. ONLINE. Info sheet is HERE.
- Nehe Sharma, PhD Candidate talks about Computer Vision. Saturday, December 3 from 1-2pm for Grade 8-12. ONLINE. Info sheet is HERE.
