Registration for the Gairdner High School Symposium is currently opened! This virtual half-day event is scheduled for Monday, October 25 from 8:30-10:30am and will give secondary students and teachers the opportunity to interact with Gairdner award-winning scientists and BC Children’s Hospital researchers.
Hosted in conjunction with the Center for Molecular Medicine and Therapeutics (CMMT) and the Canada Gairdner Foundation, the Gairdner Symposium recognizes the world’s most creative and accomplished biomedical scientists who are advancing humanity and the world.
Participation is free, but is restricted to BC students from grades 10-12, or teachers. Interested individuals must register to participate and will require access to a computer, tablet or smartphone and a stable internet connection. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. As space is limited, not everyone who registers will be guaranteed a seat; additional participants will be added to the waitlist.
