Hours: 8:00-3:30 (may close earlier for meetings and appointments)
Fiction & Non-fiction books – 2 weeks
DVDs, magazines and reference books – 2 days
Resources that have been pulled for class research may not be borrowed until the classes are done with their research. However, students may use these materials in the library when the library is open.
Overdue Library Materials
The library does not charge for overdue items. However, damaged or lost items must be paid for.
Priority access is given to classes that are booked in to do research during class time; to students doing school-related work.
Gaming is not allowed.
The library has a black & white printer and a photocopier.
Bottled water is permitted in the library.
No talking on your cell phone in the library.
Students are expected to clean up after themselves.
Students are expected to be respectful of others and of the library space.
Our program promotes the development of independent, lifelong learning. The program goals are based on the principles of: – resource-based and inquiry learning, information literacy, critical thinking , and collaborative partnerships The development of these skills is achieved through the effective use of print, non-print, current online resources and technology.
