Do you have an interest in science and want to do lab workshops?<\/div>\n

The BCIT Career Awareness Workshop date has been set!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Eligible students must:<\/span><\/div>\n
– Have an expressed interest in science-related curriculum, be enthusiastic\u00a0about scientific research and lab work, and be interested in learning\u00a0about careers related to biotechnology<\/div>\n
–\u00a0Be a Grade 10,\u00a011 or 12 student<\/div>\n
– Actively participate in the lab-based workshopsand attend all sessions<\/div>\n
–\u00a0Be able to initiate and maintain conversation with practicing professionals<\/div>\n
at an industry site concerning occupational information and scientific focus.<\/div>\n

In order to apply:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Complete the application package in the fillable PDF form and email it to\u00a0biotech@bcit.ca<\/b><\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Pay for WORKSHOP A: December 10-14, 2018.\u00a0<\/span>Student payments will be processed directly through BCIT Student and Enrolment Services. \u00a0Due to the high number of cancellations for Workshop B in previous years, we will be recruiting for it in January\/February 2018.\u00a0Students not selected for Workshop A will be notified when recruit for Workshop B begins and offered an opportunity to attend if still interested.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. A BCIT student number will be required on the application form and will not be processed without one<\/span>. A link to student number set up process is included on form. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
