Winners will have demonstrated service\u00a0and leadership, both at school and in their communities, and\u00a0shown aptitude and commitment to their chosen career paths. They will receive a<strong> $5000 scholarship voucher<\/strong> to use for post-secondary tuition.<\/p>\n<p>Byrne Creek is permitted to submit one nominee for this scholarship. \u00a0Please complete the application package <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/byrnecreek-scholarships\/bc-excellence-application-2018\/\">HERE<\/a>\u00a0and submit it to Ms. Falsetto. \u00a0At this stage of the application, you are NOT required to submit reference letters (as detailed in Section 4). \u00a0However, please request reference letters as soon as possible to give your referees ample time to write you a strong reference. Once you have been selected as the nominee, your complete application package will be due to Ms. Falsetto so it can be submitted to the Ministry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The deadline to apply for the BC Excellence Scholarship is Friday, February 2nd.
