As former educators, we wish to recognize a well-rounded student who meets the following criteria;<\/p>\n<p><b>CRITERIA (for the BRTA Scholarship)<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The student has been enrolled in a Burnaby school for his\/her two senior years and has maintained a good standard of achievement.<\/li>\n<li>The student intends to register at a post-secondary institution and has financial need.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>ADDITIONAL FACTORS FOR CONSIDERATION <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Been actively involved in community service and\/or volunteer work: tutoring, peer counselling, church, clubs, recreation, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Been actively involved in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, leadership, government, dance, music, athletics, debating, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Demonstrated special skills, hobbies, interests, and\/or training.<\/p>\n<p>Demonstrated responsibility.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you are interested in this scholarship please write a short essay explaining why you are the best candidate for this scholarship.
