{"id":3930,"date":"2021-10-15T14:46:04","date_gmt":"2021-10-15T21:46:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/alpha-scholarships\/?p=3930"},"modified":"2021-10-15T14:46:04","modified_gmt":"2021-10-15T21:46:04","slug":"terry-fox-humanitarian-award-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.sd41.bc.ca\/alpha-scholarships\/2021\/10\/15\/terry-fox-humanitarian-award-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Terry Fox Humanitarian Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Terry Fox Humanitarian Awards are open to students of all abilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To be considered for the Award, applicants must meet be:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In good academic standing.<\/li>\n<li>Canadian citizens or landed immigrants.<\/li>\n<li>Students graduating from secondary (high) school or students completing their first year of C\u00c9GEP or students who have completed secondary (high) school<\/li>\n<li>Involved in voluntary humanitarian activities (for which they have not been compensated).<\/li>\n<li>Planning to or are already studying towards their first university degree or diploma at a Canadian post-secondary institution, or entering their 2nd year of C\u00c9GEP in the upcoming academic year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Terry Fox Award Recipients are eligible to receive the Award until they graduate with their first university degree or diploma (for a maximum of four years), provided they maintain satisfactory academic standing and a standard of humanitarian work and personal conduct which, in the opinion of the Board of Directors, justifies the award.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"Eneyso25lo\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/terryfoxawards.ca\/applicant-information\/\">Applicant Information<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;Applicant Information&#8221; &#8212; Terry Fox Humanitarian Award Program\" src=\"https:\/\/terryfoxawards.ca\/applicant-information\/embed\/#?secret=Eneyso25lo\" data-secret=\"Eneyso25lo\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Terry Fox Humanitarian Awards are open to students of all abilities.
