The contest is open to all high school students in grade 12.<\/p>\n<p>We invite students to answer the following question:\u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>W<\/em><em>hat makes a book a classic?\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Respond to this question by referring to\u00a0<strong>one<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>text of your choice (a novel, play, graphic novel, poem, etc.)<\/p>\n<p>The winner will receive a gift card to the King\u2019s Co-op Bookstore valued at the price of all the books you\u2019ll need for your first year of university at King\u2019s, and the winning essay will be published on the King\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p>All entries shall be no more than 1000 words.
