The Summit Programs are designed to offer enrichment to the regular high school curriculum. Although each program has its own curricular concentration, they all provide students with a strong foundation for post-secondary education after graduation. Those interested in participating in the program must apply by May of the previous school year. Although students may join one of the Summit teams in later grades, it is recommended that students begin their Summit work in grade 8, as continuing students will be given preference over students who apply to enter the program in the later years.<\/p>\n

The Business Program provides students with a unique opportunity to explore the world of business as they are fulfilling their regular graduation requirements. Students who are accepted into the program will have the opportunity to complete a variety of business related courses, including AP Computer Science, Business Computer Applications, Business Information Management, Desktop Publishing, Tourism, Information Technology, Data Management, AP Economics, AP Statistics, Entrepreneurship, Accounting and Marketing. They will also participate in field experiences and projects that will lead to the development of a business plan. This program allows students to focus their studies during their high school careers in order to prepare them for university business programs after graduation.<\/p>\n
